I read Edgar Allen Poe when I was in 4th grade. I stayed awake to listen to radio theater that started at midnight. It was hosted by E.G. Marshall and they did Murders of the Rue Morgue and The Telltale Heart and I was hooked. Don't even get me started on the collection of short stories hardcover book I carried around and pored over. It had illustrations that were all El Greco meets Stephen King and I LOVED IT! I read Jaws when I was in 5th grade. I have been called Wednesday Addams, which I do not happen to consider an insult.
Now that you know that, doesn't it make total freakin' sense that my son's current obsession would be zombies?
